Dr. Heldridge
John E Heldridge, D.D.S
Dr. Heldridge is from St. Paul, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He then completed his surgery training at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in 1969. Dr. Heldridge was drafted for active duty during the Vietnam era and completed four years of active duty with the rank of Major in the U.S. Air Force. During these four years he honed his skills doing mostly trauma, reconstructive, and orthognathic surgery.
Dr. Heldridge is past president of both the Washington State Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Snohomish County Dental Society. He enjoys all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery practice, and is actively involved with study clubs and continuing education programs. He has a special interest in dental implants since incorporating them into our practice in 1984.
Dr. Heldridge enjoys keeping fit, hiking, skiing, kayaking, biking, photography, and he loves to cook. He also travels extensively; with Australia and Antarctica as the only continents he hasn’t visited. He lives in Edmonds and has three grown children and three grandchildren. |

Dr. Sato
Alan K. Sato, D.D.S
Dr. Sato is a native of Washington having grown up in Redmond. He attended the University of Washington as well as the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he graduated in 1988. Dr. Sato then completed a one-year general practice residency at St. Joseph Hospital and Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He received his surgical training at the Medical College of Georgia completing his certification in 1994, and joined the practice that year. Dr. Sato enjoys all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, and particularly enjoys working with children.
Dr. Sato is an avid snow skier and can often be found in the mountains. Outside of office hours, he and his wife Dana, are busy raising twin boys. |

Dr. Brinkman
Jill L. Brinkman, D.D.S., M.D.
Dr. Brinkman is originally from Baltimore, Maryland where she earned her masters degree in Advanced Head and Neck Anatomy from the Oral & Craniofacial Biology Department at the University of Maryland. She went on to attend the University of Maryland Dental School where she received the Oral & Maxillofacial Award before graduating in 2000. While continuing her education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she earned her medical degree in 2003. Dr. Brinkman then went on to her surgical training at the University of Maryland’s Shock Trauma and Medical Center, where she received her certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006. She then went into private practice on the East coast before deciding to move to Washington in 2008. While she enjoys all aspects of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, she especially enjoys facial aesthetics/rejuvenation and cosmetics.
Dr. Brinkman enjoys the outdoors, kayaking and horseback riding. She is also an avid photographer. |
