Take the first step to a healthier, happier you! Schedule your initial appointment with one of our knowledgeable and friendly doctors. At your initial appointment the doctor will conduct a consultation explaining your diagnosis
and treatment options, making sure that you are aware of the best possible plan for your oral surgery needs.
Preparing for your first visit :
To prepare for your consultation, please bring your surgical referral slip and any x-rays, if applicable. If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. You may also bring them with you to your appointment. If additional films are necessary, we will be sure to take those at our office.
Save time by completing Health History and Registration forms online. Since we are going as paperless as possible you can complete your Medical History form online before your appointment. Simply click on the “Patient Registration Tab” located on the on the left menu. Also, please make sure to list all medications you are presently taking.
Patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at their appointment.
The doctors at Edmonds Oral Surgery are compassionate about the care patients receive, and they go out of their way to ensure patients are prepared and educated for upcoming procedures.
Patients undergoing IV anesthesia (Sedation) will need to schedule a pre-operative consultation and physical examination. Please note that when you return for your surgery appointment, you cannot have anything to eat 8 hours prior to your surgery and should have only water up until 4 hours before. The safety of our patients is of top concern. Please make sure you have an adult (18 or over) friend or family member to bring you to your surgery appointment. The driver must remain at the office throughout your appointment to drive you home.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc., or if you are currently taking any medication like heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.
