Meet Dr. VAUGHN

Dr. Vaughn is from Detroit, Michigan originally. For his undergraduate degree, he attended Case Western Reserve University and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then attended Harvard University School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Dental Medical Doctorate and graduated with honors. He then completed his combined medical training and residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and his certificate in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a concentration in Temporomandibular Joint Disorders and Orthognathic Surgery.

During his 6-year residency, he had training in broad scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery including benign & malignant pathology and cleft & craniofacial surgery. His special interests and focused training were on open, closed and minimally invasive TMJ surgery, corrective jaw surgery, full arch dental implants, implantology & bone augmentation. He has additional training in pediatric, adult and geriatric anesthesia.

Outside of surgery, he enjoys active outdoor activities with his family and is happy to be living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. He is training for a triathlon and is a pickleball enthusiast. He finds joy in creating meaningful relationships and strives to do this with each of his patients.
